Services

Websites, design, apps, and search. Often mixed into one project.

Services

Four things, often mixed together.

You can hire us for one of them. A lot of jobs use two or three, and we price that as a single project rather than sending you elsewhere for the rest.

A monitor showing an editorial website layout. Paper, a pencil, and a red colour chip on a design desk. A phone and tablet showing abstract app screens. Sunlit columns casting a strict grid of shadows.

01

Web development

Marketing sites, content sites, and shops. WordPress and Shopify when you need to update pages or products yourself. Laravel when the site has to do something those don’t cover comfortably. The editing side is kept to the parts that should change, so updating a sentence doesn’t break the layout.

If the job needs something none of those give you out of the box, we build that part and leave the rest easy to edit.

  • WordPress, Laravel, and Shopify
  • Marketing and content sites
  • Layouts that work on a phone
  • A login, and a walk-through of what you can edit

02

Design

Type, colour, and how the pages are arranged. We design the thing we’re going to build, so the pictures you approve are close to what goes live.

Sometimes that includes a simple brand for the web: a mark, a couple of colours, and rules for how headings and buttons look. Enough to stay consistent. Not a fat guidelines PDF.

  • Page design
  • A web brand, when you need one
  • Interface design for apps
  • Notes on type, colour, and spacing you can keep

03

App development

Some jobs aren’t a brochure. Someone has to log in, see a list, update a record, or check a status. We sketch that flow first, then build a version people can actually use.

We start with the screens you’ll open every day. Extra features can wait until those are in use, otherwise the first release tries to do everything and ships late.

  • The flows, drawn out before we code
  • Web apps
  • Mobile apps
  • A short list of what can wait until later

04

SEO

Page titles, the order of the site, how fast it loads, and whether the words match what someone would actually type. That’s the work. We won’t promise a Google ranking. Nobody honest can.

It’s easier to do this while the site is being built than to hire someone afterwards to unpick it. If you already have a site, we can review it and tell you what’s worth fixing.

  • A look at the current site, if you have one
  • Titles, descriptions, and page structure
  • Speed, and whether Google can read the pages
  • Straight advice on what to write
