Don’t build the whole idea in one go

The first version of a site is the one people can use. It is rarely the one with every idea from the first call packed into it. Those projects stall.

For a website, the first version is usually the story, the work, and a way to get in touch. For an app, it’s the one thing the team will do every day. The rest gets written down so it isn’t forgotten, and it isn’t built yet.

After launch we look at what people actually do. The next round of work comes from that.
